What to expect at a community shred event

Community shred events follow a consistent format across hosts. Knowing the format ahead of time helps you decide whether the event is the right fit or whether drop-off makes more sense.

• Event length. Most events run two to four hours, typically Saturday morning. Lines often form thirty minutes before start.
• Box limit. Three to five boxes per household is typical. Some events cap at one or two banker boxes per car.
