A $75 minimum service charge applies to all witnessed shredding appointments. This covers the dedicated staff time required for an appointment-based session. The flat $14.95 Certificate of Destruction filing fee and $19.95 environmental fee are added to every job.
Yes. Attorneys, financial advisors, and other professionals often bring clients to witnessed shredding sessions so the client can personally observe the destruction of their records. If you plan to bring additional observers, please let us know when booking so we can prepare adequate viewing space. This is one of the most common use cases for witnessed shredding and we handle it regularly.
No preparation required. Bring everything as-is — staples, paper clips, and binder clips can stay in place. Our shredder handles all hardware. The one exception: remove documents from three-ring binders before bringing them, as the metal binder spines can damage equipment. Your documents — including folders, envelopes, and rubber-banded stacks — come in exactly as they are.
Weekend witnessed shredding appointments are available by request. Call (978) 636-0301 with at least 48 hours advance notice to arrange a Saturday or Sunday session. Standard appointment procedures apply, and the same Certificate of Destruction is issued. Weekend availability varies by season, so early notice is appreciated.
