Document Shredding Services
for New Hampshire
Certified, HIPAA and FACTA-compliant shredding for NH residents, businesses, medical practices, law firms, and CPA firms. Seven service options, transparent pricing, Certificate of Destruction on every single job.
Our Shredding Services
Seven service options — designed for the full range of southern New Hampshire shredding needs. Every service includes a notarized Certificate of Destruction at no extra charge.
Drop-Off Shredding
Drive to our secure Tewksbury, MA facility, drop off your documents, and leave. No appointment, no waiting, no minimum volume. Starting at just 99¢ per pound — the most affordable certified shredding option available in southern New Hampshire. Staples, paper clips, and binder clips are all fine to leave in place.
Off-Site Pickup Shredding
We come to your New Hampshire home or business, collect your documents in locked, tamper-evident security containers, transport them to our AAA-certified facility, and shred them the same day. Our trained staff handles all loading and unloading — you simply point us to the material. A notarized Certificate of Destruction is issued at job completion.
Witnessed Shredding
Observe the complete destruction of your documents in person at our Tewksbury facility. By appointment. You watch every document destroyed — nothing goes out of sight, nothing is set aside. A notarized Certificate of Destruction is issued while you wait. This is the standard for clients with strict regulatory, professional conduct, or chain-of-custody requirements.
Medical Records Shredding
Purpose-built for NH healthcare providers, our medical shredding service meets HIPAA's strict destruction standards for Protected Health Information (PHI). We handle paper patient records, X-ray films, intake forms, prescription records, insurance documents, and PHI-containing digital media. Full chain of custody from collection to destruction, with a notarized Certificate of Destruction for every job.
Annual Document Purge
A one-time bulk shredding service for NH households and businesses clearing years of accumulated records. Whether it's a decade of tax returns, an office full of client files from a business transition, or an estate cleanout, we handle any volume with same-day shredding and complete documentation. Many clients discover the benefits of an annual purge and make it a recurring year-end practice.
Media & Hard Drive Destruction
Physical destruction of hard drives, solid-state drives, USB drives, CDs, DVDs, magnetic backup tapes, and floppy disks. Formatting a drive and performing a factory reset does not eliminate data — forensic recovery tools can reconstruct data from reformatted drives. Physical destruction renders devices completely and permanently unreadable. Certificate of Destruction issued for every device destroyed.
Scheduled Business Shredding
Recurring shredding for NH businesses that generate consistent volumes of sensitive documents every week or month. We supply secure, lockable collection containers for placement in your office — near copiers, in file rooms, or at employee workstations. On your chosen frequency (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly), we collect and shred everything, then issue a Certificate of Destruction after every service. This is the most cost-effective option for offices with ongoing compliance obligations under HIPAA, FACTA, or SOX.

A Certificate of Destruction is a notarized legal document that records the date, volume, and method of destruction of your shredded material. It serves as your proof of compliant disposal for HIPAA audits, FACTA regulatory reviews, SOX compliance documentation, state inspections, and professional conduct compliance reviews. We include it with every job at no extra charge — for businesses and individuals alike. This is a feature many competitors charge extra for or reserve for large commercial accounts. We do not.
Yes. Our medical records shredding service is purpose-built for HIPAA compliance. We handle patient records, X-ray films, intake forms, insurance paperwork, prescription records, and PHI-containing digital media under documented chain-of-custody protocols. Every medical shredding job includes a notarized Certificate of Destruction for audit and regulatory documentation. HIPAA fines for improper PHI disposal can reach $50,000 per incident — professional shredding is the only defensible compliance position.
No preparation is required — with one exception. Staples, paper clips, binder clips, and rubber bands are all fine to leave in place. Our industrial shredders handle all of them without issue. The one exception: please remove documents from three-ring binders before dropping off, as the metal binder spines can damage shredding equipment. Everything else — including the documents themselves — comes in exactly as it is.
Retention periods vary by document type and industry. Key benchmarks for NH clients: federal tax returns — 7 years; bank and credit card statements — 1 to 3 years; employee records — 7 years after separation; medical records — 7 to 10 years in NH; business contracts — life of the contract plus 7 years. Our complete document retention guidelines page covers every major category for individuals, businesses, healthcare providers, and legal and financial professionals in New Hampshire.
